South Dakota=wide open

South Dakota has been a lovely drive. We can’t decide which is bigger the sky or the never ending farmland, but we do know this is the just the beginning to the real America. Tons of moo cows, bats and buffalo with bright blue skies and cooler temperatures. We thought we made a wrong turn in WI (to FL) when the temps were in the high 90s!!!
Our cell phone reception has been very poor out here in the prairie, we’ve been trying all day to post new pics. Of course it’s a lot of the same, wide open spaces, but we think it’s beautiful west of the Missouri River especially.
Almost to our pit stop Rapid City, SD where we will stay and see Mt.Rushmore in the a.m. We have reservations at the Corn Exchange, a local favorite and a must for travelers. Yeehaw!
Oh check out this drink at the truckstop..clam, tomato and Budweiser . A realpickme up I’m sure!
