Sunshine, Super Moon, Blue skies, tastes of Spain at Harvest Vine (baby octupus!) French Breakfast at Bastille, spring Carnations, punk rock dogs, Spring is here!!

Seattlites love the sun & take full advantage of it when it shows up. Everyone takes half days, full of friendly chatter & populating outdoor cafes. We had a Gorgeous week when we are working, then back to rainy weekends when we are off. Back to quiet indoor time, we must Make sure to smile & soak it up as much as we can next time!

2011 It’s Been Awhile

Technical difficulties, busy schedules, winter woes have all been in the way of updating this blog. We’re back I hope.

Seattle has been wonderful. We’re still overindulging on the Pacific NW’s bounty, a trip to Portland, Orcas Island next week, Restaurants Galore, wine, oyster & beer tastings. Good company, good work and good times!

On the sad side of things, we did lose two very amazing family members this year. James’ grandfather Mr. Richard J. Dixon passed away in January. He was there with the family in Florida to celebrate him, thank goodness. Ally lost her great Uncle William Appleby in NY this month. We cherish their memory and share their stories often. Rest In Peace Mr. D & Mr. A.

Here’s some recent photos.. My cheese/meat plate at work SAVOUR, beautiful Seattle & Puget Sound, Birthday shots, beer tours and visits!

This never gets old..

New Year’s!

Christmas

We got spoiled. Thank you everyone!

SAVOUR

Some of Ally’s work at SAVOUR! Having fun cooking for work & James!

Our tree!

Our annual tradition of cutting down the Christmas tree has arrived. This time we went to Carnation, WA with Holly & her family. Tons of varieties but not a lot of trees available, but we still found a fabulous tree nonetheless! We were prepared this time for cold weather, thankfully it was a nice non rainy day!
